I am currently testing MAPS 2.122 now, so we shall see what I find on these issues.

2
So I know that Elroy has made a visit to your lab and was working on Windows/Office compatibility issues.

1) Click on the cell and see if there is more information in the cell and if it is a formatting issue.
2) Check the custom templates folder, if the document has been updated, but you have an old custom template, there could be problems.
3) Check the data back in the data entry screen.

Errors & Fixes / Re: Trunk Kinematics Not Plotting
« on: May 03, 2018, 10:17:11 AM »
If you go to the Kinematics data tab (grey ones at the end of the list), what does it have in the data columns?
200 is the default place holder.  It might be off the chart.

Or, did it not make it into the GCD?
(did it used to work and now it does not?)

Humm.
Mine worked here.  Version 2.119 1-23-2018 windows 7, office 2010.

Interesting since it was in the preview window...

So for clarification, it is a Cohort score.
This only works for GMFCS 1-2-3, not 4 or 5, and does not work if not selected.

Give that a shot.

Errors & Fixes / Re: issue with patient file (XXXXX.patient.enf)

so the ENF file is from Vicon, correct?
And you are dealing with Windows 7 versus Windows 10.

I am not sure what Windows 10 would do to the file.
Was something else changed with Nexus?

Errors & Fixes / Re: Spine Sx not listed on Post-op report screen
« on: January 29, 2018, 10:52:00 AM »
I know that Upper SX and Lower SX were separated.  Not sure how spine SX fits into the mix.

I wonder if SX (general) would be a better overall option.

I will have to look into this one.
Odd.

Errors & Fixes / Re: Small Issue with Gait Parameters Report
« on: January 29, 2018, 10:49:38 AM »
I see the problem.
For now, clicking on the problem cell and then nocking down the font size a peg or two works.

Do not know if this is a recent event, or if I did not see numbers of 100% or more.

Now the question is how to get this tweaked by Elroy.
If you want a local fix for the problem:
Find the template:  (in my case)
O:\Database\ResourceDump\TEMPLATES
MOTIONGRAPHSNEW.XLTM

Copy and save into Custom Templates folder (in my case)
O:\Database\CustomTemplates

Right click, "Open".  This will open the template file and is not the same thing as double clicking which will open a document.

Go to the column for %Norm, and nock the font size down two sizes. (4)
Save the Template
Might need to rename the file: Motion Graphs New.xltm

Errors & Fixes / Motion Plots have a "plateau" effect (FIXED)
« on: November 07, 2017, 12:15:57 PM »
This problem was first reported (to me) by Mathieu of Montreal (11/7/2017)

Problem:  Motion plots have a "plateau" effect going on.
Main plot that is affected if Pelvic Tilt (wrt lab)

Real Problem:  French setting of the computer uses commas and not periods to separate the decimal places.
MAPS truncated the data to integers since it ignored all information after the comma.

FIX #1:  Set the computer to English to run MAPS.  (11/7/2017)
Future FIX:  make MAPS accommodate other language settings.

Normal Process:
Vicon Nexus w/ Woltring Filter
MAPS (C3D-->GCD) cubic spline down to 51 data points
Excel plotting w/ Catmull-Rom spline (as reported by Elroy)

This problem was first presented (to me) by Holley of Shreveport (11/2/2017)

Problem:  Clicking on the "Refresh" button below "C3D Files in Motion Sys" does not populate the box with files.
Windows 10, Office 2016, MAPS v2.105, v2.111

This may be a local problem isolated to the Nexus DB structure of Shreveport.
This is an ongoing issue.

MAPS looks for information in .ENF files to identify the correct patient (MRN or Name) and correct encounter (Date)

Still Working with Holley on this problem.

This problem was first reported (to me) by Holley of Shreveport (11/2/2017)

Problem:  During data entry of the Physical Exam, when clicking "Save Work" or "Save & Close", MAPS will crash with message.
Windows 10, Office 2016, MAPS v 2.111 --> 2.105

The problem may have been caused by running MAPS v 2.111 which updated the MDB file, and then rolling back MAPS to 2.105.

The FIX:
Go to the MAPS "Maintenance & Utilities" section.
Click on "Validate Database Structure".

Errors & Fixes / MAPS crashes during Motion Plot creation (FIXED)
« on: November 07, 2017, 10:39:23 AM »
This problem was first reported (to me) by Holley of Shreveport (11/2/2017)
There is the possibility that Anita of N.California has also seen this problem.

Problem:  MAPS will crash during the creation of an excel motion plot file.
"Building Gait Parameter Data" is the last message in the pink progress window
Error:  #9, Subscript is out of range.
MAPS v 2.111, Windows 10, Office 2017

Real Problem:  The Customizable Gait Parameters (aka "Top 42") has been updated, but along the way an old entry may still be on the list.  This would cause the excel file generation process to crash when it got to this point.

FIX:  Go into the MAPS maintenance section, Gait Params Report Slots, remove "Foot Progress" entries and re-add them.

FIX:  v 2.113 (available 11/8/2017) will perform a check on the Customizable Gait Parameters to avoid future problems.

OLD INFO:
Current workaround was to roll back the MAPS to their previous version, 2.105.
(since 2.111 was desired for the Spine Related Services, both versions are in play.)

Elroy has been made aware of this issue.
Problem was not reproducible at this time at Houston.

Errors & Fixes / Excel Documents "Double Open" from MAPS (workaround)
« on: November 07, 2017, 10:31:53 AM »
This problem was first identified (to me) by Holley of Shreveport. (11/2/2017)

Problem:  Excel documents opened via MAPS will in fact double-open.

From MAPS, either from the:
"View Encounter's Word, Excel, PDF & Movie Files" button within an encounter
Double clicking a file in the last box of the "Process Motion Data" in the Motion Service Data Processing line
"Create New XLS Plot File" from within the Process Motion Data service.

Seen in Windows 10, Excel 2016

This has been identified as a bug with the "Shell Command" and Windows 10.
Harmless short of a pop-up warning about the document already being open.  Can click yes or no without harm.

Elroy is aware of this.  May be fixable, may not.
